# Kaimou Semiconductor > Colour global-shutter CMOS image sensors for multi-camera robots, headsets, grippers, drones and capture rigs. GS2.3 is a 2.3 MP (1920 × 1200) backside-illuminated charge-domain global shutter, 4.0 µm pitch, with a 4.5 µm option. Design targets: 90 frames a second with both HDR paths read, at least 80 dB linear range in one exposure, high-gain read noise at most 2.0 e−, and SyncLink multi-camera timestamps. Figures are design targets until silicon is measured to EMVA 1288. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.kaimou-semiconductor.com/): product, use cases, seed note - [GS2.3 specification](https://www.kaimou-semiconductor.com/specification): pixel, noise, full well, colour, motion, SyncLink, optics - [Comparison table](https://www.kaimou-semiconductor.com/specification#field) - [Contact](https://www.kaimou-semiconductor.com/contactus): message stored in Odoo ## Sensors people compare with GS2.3 - SmartSens SC233HGS: 3.0 µm, 1920×1200, published linear range 62.65 dB, knee HDR - SmartSens SC136HGS: 4.0 µm, dual gain at about half the frame rate - onsemi AR0234 and AR0234CS: 3.0 µm, about 70 dB, no single-exposure HDR at full rate - onsemi AR0235: about 65.3 dB - ams Mira220: 2.79 µm stacked, 1600×1400 - OmniVision OG02C10 and OG05C10: 3.45 µm, higher range mode keeps about half the frame rate or less - Sony IMX392: 3.45 µm, about 73.2 dB, no HDR mode - Sony IMX421: 4.5 µm - Sony IMX900: 2.25 µm, spatial HDR, mono - Gpixel GMAX4002: 4.0 µm, about 68 dB, no HDR mode GS2.3 targets at least 80 dB linear, one exposure, 90 fps, with the cameras synchronised on the sensor. ## Contact There is no public email address.
